Was suppose to be in Orchard today but ended up in Suntec because of Kushin-bo...... At least this time I didn't eat cheesecake based thing so I didn't puke.

Anyway the mall in question was having aSingapore Heritage Fest thingy. I got enticed by music and dance to stay a while and watch. I'm a sucker for music and dance on account of the music and dance performance put up by my schools whenever there is a cultural festival around. Obviously I still don't get enough and now make the team go through fan dances and that one dragon dance with Fire Dragon 2

I caught a performance by Ethnofonik one of their songs reminds me of Wildarms. They were using a mix of Chinese Malay and Indian musical instruments for their song

One thing to say about this. Smexy Domuya dolls. Even though I can't afford them I would like to look. Makes me appreciate the Team more for their handy size and kookiness. Wouldn't know if they'll be there this year but it would be awesome if they were.

If i have enough energy I would go on a sunday as well just to see the cosplay. Of course the ubiquitous Stormtroopers will always be there.

Probably gonna bring 4 dolls or less this year. Maybe the Team would get to mug some some Blythe of their clothes

If I start buying camo outfits for my dolls. You know who is to be blame. I have not touch Metal Gear Solid for some time. All I did was get a olive re-ment causal mix jacket thing for Helen. And its was fine then, Until Zannah borrowed it for the Re-ment war shoot. I'm reminded of Grifter for no reason at all and then for some reason Sniper Wolf came to mind and then The Boss. And then Resident blond was playing sniper during Re-ment war

If and when a certain somebody makes it into the team, I would have to give him a cardboard box as a security blanket. These dolls will break him for the sake of parody

I don't think Helen would be getting her jacket back anytime soon (or at least until I can find an olive hunter outfit). It might be time to introduce a smaller revolver to the team and see if someone does a Revolver Ocelot

With G.I Joe coming out next month you wonder if I would get The Baroness outfit. Erisa's gear had came form the Triad Baonness-ish outfit so well maybe. So unless April does Scarlett

This is actually Dolly Fighter 2 - Re-ment War. DF1 Rise of the Articulate was postponed (This whole DF thing was on account of the sprite work I done)

Rise of the Articulate is more towards traditional weaponry and the jibe that they don't have an actual military guy on the team (Cops yes, semi immortal alien blade mistress and occasional convert ops yes, a bunch of warriors banded to fight off a common threat yes, but no military guy.... yet)

It started off with this mental image of YR the Karate jock dumping a pile of weapons (that came with his body) at Erisa's feet. And somewhere along the way it became a paintball fight between the younger dolls and the older dolls. with one of the older ones defecting to make up numbers. Was suppose to have some of them do some wirework but by lunch time I ran out of gas.


The concept was that the team that collected all the cups and fix up the candle holder wins (Medi-chun has the candle holder but I don't have a good shot).

I was at the Singapore River UOB building side. I keep spotting this peculiar bird by the river steps whenever I was there for the last 3 months(so I'm not sure if its local or migratory). I finally got a shot of this guy and guess what. It turns out there are actually two of them today but my camera has no memory card and the other one chased it the first one away

You know by now I have a habit of taking pics of birds and creatures I ain't seen before. If I could only get a pic of those yellow orioles that hang around my neighborhood. Or even the squrriel that I spotted near my current workplace

I think its some kind of Kingfisher. Would prbably attempt to see if I can get better shots than this

In the spirit of their namesakes, these hate each other and refuse to even go near each other, twice over. Would probably attempt a third time just for the sake of it I'm not getting another one and call it Soul Spark. Its just weird fun to see it happen this way. Gonna see if they have any luck with different dragons

Dang should have let Psycho Crusher fathered Tensho, while Sheng Long fathers Shoryuken. Dang, I forgot


On the other hand Shoryuken and Tensho Kyaku have no problem with each other. Gotta see if I can fix my Metal Gear Solid line.

Wss suppose to post pics on the day itself but my allergy med was messing with my stomach and making me feel like crap in general (One more day to go before me meds end, may have to follow up on a 2nd close to get rid of an annoying skin problem on my scalp). It sucks but my pc is dead

Anyway I ended up buyng some guitars and some weaponry in the general direction of a sawn off shotgun and what I assume to be a desert eagle. 'Sarah Conner/Camaron the Teenie Terminator' was with me but I didn't let her try the guns. As well as her sister and Obi-Chun (but Obi-Chun didn't get a shoot but she had been to the SMU on a previous outing)

I gotten my Ryu action figure an Obitsu and things just exploded from there. Three years later, Ryu is 75% doll on account of his Volks body (Big Chun, YR, Erisa and Zannah considered 75% action figure on account of the action figure bodies)

The Dolls are having more fun than my only pure blooded action figure as they have the one thing that she don't - GRIP HANDS!!!!!!!! (yeah, Medi-Chun is still earning her keep. I'm gonna see if i can send one of the extra hands down to size for her)

And its strange that the dolls are given the action figure treatment with weapons such as tonfa and Kali stick battle, nunchuck fun and running amok with a pair of sais (thats just April). And there's tree swinging and inflitration project. I'm short of one gun battle. On the whole when it comes to Obitsu vs Action figures. My Obitsu are sturdy little creatures earning their keep (I think someone earn herself a pair of boots. And there after it was just as easy to switch them to doing fan dances and guitar jams.

And its also insanely fun that I'm making clothes for them, at the moment 5 of them are wearing stuff I made. I can buy them clothes but some of them well be stuck in hand made clothes for months on end for reason beyond me. (Obi-Chun, Zannah and Helen in particular)

There's a chinese phrase -文武双全 (Wen wu shuang quan). which means being well verse in both Martial arts and civil arts.

Oh and as for Ryu. He has no complaints about being call a doll (especially if the dolls he knows are running around kicking random ass).

If Obitsu makes Amazonian bodies, it will be many levels of awesome

This is just 12inch dolls. I'm not gonna comment on the smaller scale folks because right now its very difficult to overtake the the dolls. And its not like they are removing the Street Fighter part of my hobby but reveling in the inane fun of it and throwing Wuxia into the mix. Geekdom. Me thinks I'm gonna be running amok in the general direction of Street Fighter and Wuxia for a season or two, especially now I found a pair of nunchucks.

I had been wanting to repaint Erika's new head for over a week and have yet to do so on account of work taking away my dolly mood. On the whole, if I don't do anything to her tomorrow, this is what Erika would look like. Frankly the sisters are looking less and less like the twin bunnies they were suppose to be.


My gals don't get to wear lipstick as I'm bad at painting on lipstick, and half the time it makes them look wrong


Other than Obi-Chun, she's the other sweet one (until she lobs a fireball or lightning bolt or an ice arrow at you) who actually does not look strange wearing lolitha or maid costumes.
